On November 6, Mr. Ye Xuenong, Permanent Representative of China to ESCAP and Mr. Adnan Aliani, Director of Strategy and Programme Management Division of ESCAP Secretariat co-chaired the Sixth China-ESCAP Annual Consultation. Directors of ESCAP Secretariat attended the event.

Mr. Ye shared outcomes of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and briefed China’s development achievements and international contributions during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The two sides exchanged views on promoting China-ESCAP cooperation, and reviewed the progress of on-going projects and new project proposals under the China-ESCAP Cooperation Programme.
