From July 22nd to 23rd , Mekong Forum 2026 and the Mekong Institute (MI) 30th Anniversary Gala were held in Bangkok, Thailand. Representatives of MI member countries, development partners and various sectors attended. Mr. Ye Xuenong, Permanent Representative of China to ESCAP, attended the events and delivered opening remarks and keynote speech at a session of Mekong Forum 2026.
